Five living scenarios for the most intimate space of the home
A bathroom is not merely a functional space. It is where each day begins and ends — a territory of quietness, personal ritual, and reconnection with oneself.
TIUGA STUDIO’s participation in the “Author Design Ideas” program organized by Delta Studio offered an opportunity to explore this space beyond conventional solutions. Instead of proposing a single design, we developed five distinct living scenarios, each built around a specific atmosphere, emotional state, and strong identity.
The initiative brings together architects and designers within a curated virtual showroom where concepts are signed, feasible, and capable of becoming real interiors — a bridge between imagination and built space.
For us, this was not only a design challenge but an exploration: how can the same functional program generate radically different experiences?
The Five Concepts
Dramatic Luxury

A dense and sophisticated interior designed for an exclusive residence — penthouse or contemporary villa — and for a client with mature taste, oriented toward deep elegance and intimate atmosphere.
The contrast between black marble with striking veining and matte surfaces in deep bordeaux tones creates a theatrical composition reminiscent of luxury boutique hotel suites. The black-and-white geometric flooring introduces a luminous counterpoint, balancing the chromatic density of the walls.
The space is conceived for a high-end residence — penthouse, contemporary villa, or premium home. It is a spacious master bathroom intended for a sophisticated client who prefers interiors with strong personality, intimate ambiance, and mature elegance, where comfort and visual impact are treated equally.
Timeless Elegance

A master sanctuary designed for a sophisticated client seeking maximum comfort and understated elegance, free from ostentation. The concept suits a spacious villa, penthouse, or luxury residential suite.
White marble with warm golden veining creates a luminous and noble backdrop, while chevron-patterned wood textures introduce rhythm and controlled warmth. The freestanding bathtub, placed within an illuminated architectural niche, becomes the central sculptural element.
This bathroom functions as an extension of the private relaxation area, offering everyday usability at the standards of a private spa.
Contemporary Eclecticism

A bright and balanced bathroom designed for a contemporary client oriented toward comfort, naturalness, and visual clarity. It suits modern apartments or family homes where the bathroom becomes a space for daily relaxation.
Glossy green tiles introduce chromatic depth, while wood-inspired wallpaper creates an organic artistic backdrop. The atmosphere is calm, welcoming, and sophisticated without being ostentatious.
The concept addresses clients who appreciate luminous, well-balanced interiors with a discreetly refined natural aesthetic — spaces meant for reconnection, not just functionality.
🌿 Urban Tropical Oasis

A contemporary refuge for an active urban lifestyle. Designed for a premium residence — modern apartment or contemporary villa — the space can function as either a master bathroom or a family bathroom.
The contrast between vertically mounted “metro” tiles and oversized botanical wallpaper creates a relaxed yet expressive atmosphere. The freestanding bathtub and textured glass panels maintain spatial fluidity and brightness.
The design is intended for clients who appreciate contemporary aesthetics and bold decorative solutions while seeking a calm, long-lasting interior.
🍷 Poem Burgundy

A compact powder room transformed into a true “jewel bathroom,” conceived for a premium residence. The space is intended for an urban client with cultivated tastes, familiar with author-driven design and boutique hotel aesthetics.
Burgundy wallpaper with Asian motifs creates a contemplative and intimate atmosphere, while black-and-white geometric ceramics introduce rigor and luminous contrast. Minimalist sanitary objects in matte black maintain formal purity and contemporary coherence.
The result is a memorable small space that prioritizes impact and experience over size.
Philosophy Behind the Project
Although aesthetically different, all five concepts share the same belief: interior design is not about objects, but about the states they create.
At TIUGA STUDIO, every project begins with the question “How should the space feel?” rather than “How should it look?” Materiality, light, and proportion are the tools through which we construct this experience.
The Delta Studio program provided the ideal framework to transform these principles into clear, coherent, and feasible scenarios, using real products from their portfolio capable of supporting both aesthetic expression and functional performance.
