Located in the heart of Paris on Rue du Temple, this living room and open kitchen interior design project by TIUGA STUDIO exemplifies a seamless fusion of classical Parisian architecture with a contemporary, refined aesthetic. Designed with a meticulous eye for detail, this space embodies sophistication, balancing timeless elegance with functional modernity.

The design narrative is built around a rich yet harmonious material palette, featuring dark wood cabinetry, intricate wall moldings, and striking marble surfaces. The living area is anchored by a sculptural, curved sofa in a soft, neutral fabric, its organic form complementing the structured architectural detailing. A bold, graphic rug and a sculptural coffee table with metallic accents introduce a touch of avant-garde modernism. The walls are adorned with curated art pieces, including a striking equestrian painting that enhances the room’s dramatic yet elegant ambiance.

The open kitchen is a statement of luxury and practicality. Floor-to-ceiling wood cabinetry conceals integrated appliances, maintaining a streamlined aesthetic. The deep red marble backsplash and countertop serve as a bold focal point, their natural veining adding depth and visual intrigue. Gold-toned hardware and lighting fixtures accentuate the richness of the materials, while a round dining table in matching marble creates a cohesive visual dialogue between the kitchen and living space.

Lighting plays a crucial role in elevating the design. A cluster of suspended glass globes in the center of the living area provides an ethereal, sculptural presence, complemented by wall sconces with brass details. The balance between natural and artificial light enhances the space’s warm yet refined atmosphere.

The interplay of textures, colors, and materials in this project pays homage to the historic charm of its Parisian setting while embracing modern luxury. The result is a space that is both visually captivating and functionally seamless, embodying the essence of contemporary Parisian living.
