TIUGA STUDIO's interior design project for the duplex in Bucharest, Romania, exemplifies a sophisticated fusion of contemporary elegance and refined functionality. The design language throughout the space emphasizes minimalist aesthetics combined with luxurious materials and bespoke craftsmanship.

The living area embodies a sleek yet inviting atmosphere, with the use of neutral tones and textured materials creating a harmonious ambiance. The focal point is a custom-designed marble feature wall housing a recessed fireplace, which exudes understated opulence. A large L-shaped sofa, upholstered in soft beige fabric, dominates the space, framed by pendant lighting fixtures that add a sense of depth and sophistication. Circular brass coffee tables reflect the room’s subtle golden accents, balancing warmth with modernity.

The kitchen adopts a clean, open layout with high-end materials such as marble countertops and backsplashes, juxtaposed against dark wood cabinetry. Integrated lighting enhances the modernity of the design, illuminating glass shelving and giving the space a warm, welcoming glow. The dining area is designed with plush, custom seating, featuring gold accents and quilted textures that reflect the luxurious aesthetic found throughout the residence.

The bedrooms emphasize serenity and relaxation, employing natural textures and a neutral color palette. In the master suite, a plush upholstered bed sits against a textured accent wall, which is softly illuminated with indirect LED lighting. Built-in storage and shelving units are seamlessly integrated into the room, maintaining a clutter-free environment while exuding elegance. The design prioritizes both comfort and refined taste, as seen in the carefully chosen furniture pieces, soft textiles, and subtle architectural detailing.

The office space, designed with functionality and style in mind, features a modern, minimalist desk complemented by bespoke shelving units with integrated lighting. The design emphasizes clean lines and subtle luxury, with a neutral palette and natural light enhancing the workspace's calm and focused environment.

The bathrooms are a testament to refined elegance, with marble surfaces and sleek fixtures. Gold accents elevate the design, seen in the custom sinks, mirrors, and fittings, which contrast beautifully with the white and beige tones of the walls and floors. The design is luxurious yet functional, providing a spa-like experience within the comfort of the home.

The walk-in closet features sleek shelving and drawers with integrated lighting, creating an organized and high-end dressing space. The dark tones of the wardrobe units contrast with the soft, warm lighting, enhancing the sense of luxury and making the space both practical and visually appealing.

TIUGA STUDIO has successfully created a sophisticated interior for this Bucharest duplex, merging minimalist design principles with luxurious finishes, ultimately crafting a space that feels both modern and timeless.
